Review the “Guide to Academic Journaling” document in the Learning Resources and create a research journal you will use throughout this course.
Consider the differences between a social problem and a research problem and review literature associated with a social problem of interest.
Review the Research Journal grading rubric located in the Course Information area of the course for information regarding how your research journal entries will be evaluated.
Use the APA Course Paper Template (APA 7) found in this week’s Learning Resources to complete your Assignment.

Note: It is important to make sure you save your research journal in a Word document outside of the course for future reference.
Assignment (1–2 paragraphs). No cover page is required, as this is a continuous document used in Weeks 1–4 and Week 11. Instead, date each entry on the document just as you would in any other journal. Be sure to include references.
